Many Democratic Party donors have had it. They fully expected Hillary to win in a landslide. They even thought they might take back the senate and they forked over a lot of cash to make it happen. Now they think it was a big waste and many of them won’t be giving the party anymore money any time soon.
The Hill :
They’re right to feel this way. Their party didn’t deliver, even though they had the media and Hollywood on their side. This is one of the most telling parts of the Hill’s report:
“I may very well be done with political giving entirely,” said John Morgan, an Orlando attorney and one of Clinton’s top fundraisers in Florida. “My message to anyone reading this is, ‘Don’t call me, I’ll call you.’ From here on out, I’m giving to charities. I’d much rather give money to build a new Boys & Girls Club than to give to the [Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee].”
Also consider the fact that any donors the party has left are maxing themselves out by giving money to Jill Stein’s recount campaign and you know where that’s going? Nowhere.
If they’re mad and burned out now, wait until Trump is sworn in next year.
Democrats are in deep you-know-what.
